An engineering firm near Darmstadt is seeking an experienced freelance CAD designer/technical draftsman for long-term support on district heating and pipeline projects.
Project overview
We are an engineering firm in the Darmstadt area and are looking for experienced freelance CAD designers / technical draftsmen (m/f/d) for long-term support of our ongoing projects in the field of district heating and pipeline planning.
Responsibilities
Desired Skills:
Practical experience in pipeline or utility planning is crucial for us. Specific district heating experience is an advantage, but not a mandatory requirement.
Deployment and Collaboration:
Initially, participation of approx. 2-3 days per week in our office in the Darmstadt area is desired. After successful onboarding, the scope, on-site and remote portions, as well as the assumption of further planning services can be flexibly agreed upon on a project-related basis.
We are explicitly interested in a long-term collaboration.
- Creation and editing of CAD plans for district heating and pipeline projects
- Route and location plans as well as longitudinal sections
- Detail and execution planning
- Editing and updating existing plan documents
- Coordination with our engineers and project managers
- Good knowledge of AutoCAD and/or BricsCAD
- Experience in pipeline construction, ideally district heating/KMR
- Experience with route, civil engineering, or utility planning is an advantage
- Confident handling of technical drawings and existing documents
