Case Manager Benefits Scandal (secondment)

Project overview

As a case manager, you will support victims of the Benefits Scandal in their new start.

Profile of the suited interim professional:

• Act as a fixed point of contact for parents and young people within a caseload of approximately 25 individuals
• Inventory the personal situation through conversations and possibly home visits
• Conduct intake interviews and develop and execute action plans
• Build a trusting relationship through motivational and clear communication
• Align support with the needs of the parent, child, and family
• Coordinate with colleagues and other involved departments and organizations
• Mediate between the victim and the Tax Administration/UHT where necessary
• Record progress in Suite and other relevant systems
• Participate in case discussions and share knowledge with the Benefits Scandal Support Team
• Completed relevant HBO bachelor's degree, such as Social Legal Services, Law, or Social Work, with HBO work and thinking level
• Minimum of 4 years of experience, gained in the last 7 years, within the social domain at a municipality
• Minimum of 4 years of experience, gained in the last 7 years, with social work, social case management, debt counseling, or social legal services
• Experience in conducting stress-sensitive conversations
• Sharp insight into the balance between customization and legality, with the ability to clearly substantiate this
• Combination of empathy and professional direction during conversations
• Experience with the Suite system is a plus
• Knowledge of the laws and regulations of the national Benefits Scandal Recovery Operation is recommended
• Familiarity with the Benefits Scandal and related current developments
