CDC Qualys Expert

Project overview

For a long-term project in Bavaria, we are looking for an experienced CDC Qualys Expert on a freelance basis. The position offers flexible remote possibilities and starts soon.

Your tasks include the operation of the TCS infrastructure and the provision of corresponding deliverables. You will be responsible for the continuous improvement of monitoring and reporting methods and will regularly update Qualys scan policies based on CIS benchmarks. As a consultant, you will support the selection, implementation, and configuration of new tools for the Security Operations Center.

Your core tasks include regularly checking the functionality of all tools, reconciling inventories between scanners and asset management databases, and comprehensive reporting on deviations. You will perform target/actual comparisons, escalate critical risks and compliance violations, and coordinate their remediation with the responsible departments.

We expect sound experience in technical implementation with Qualys Guard, knowledge of CIS benchmarks, and programming skills in Shell scripting and Python. Experience in the financial industry and with ServiceNow are advantageous. Manufacturer certifications by Qualys as well as security certifications such as ECSA, CISSP, or CEH complete your profile.
