Industrialize cloud delivery and secure application platforms

We are looking for a Production Engineer – Kubernetes to strengthen our teams and support one of our major clients in the banking sector. As part of the Application Production department within the strategic scope of "Group General Secretariat", your role will be to act as a true application referent. You will drive infrastructure automation, design deployment pipelines, and ensure the end-to-end operational readiness of critical containerized applications.

Your Future Environment

You will work within a mature and highly regulated production ecosystem, characterized by a profound transformation towards Cloud and containerization technologies. Working directly with development (IT) and architecture teams, you will handle large-scale Kubernetes and OpenShift clusters, as well as regulated Cloud environments. This is the ideal setting to express your DevOps expertise, incorporate operability requirements from the early stages of the project (Design for Run), and automate complex infrastructures.

Your Key Missions

Production Engineering & Automation (BUILD Mode):

Operational Maintenance, Optimization & Application Referent (RUN Mode):

  • Act as the primary technical point of contact between IT and production teams, ensuring compliance with standards and security rules.
  • Provision infrastructure for various environments and actively participate in the design and optimization of CI/CD chains.
  • Require and design fully automated installations (scripts, pipelines), including for third-party software integration.
  • Validate the technical architecture of projects or propose adaptations at the best cost, while identifying risks and driving remediation actions.
  • Integrate operability criteria from the development phase (log management, metrics) and deploy appropriate monitoring and scheduling solutions.
  • Contribute to the production of essential project deliverables (operational documentation, recovery procedures).
  • Ensure the Operational Maintenance (MCO) of all department applications and have a thorough understanding of their ecosystem (flows, interactions, components).
  • Serve as the primary application referent for your IT counterparts, communicating daily and demonstrating proactivity.
  • Impeccably document the architectures, configurations, and processes of the entrusted applications.
  • Analyze, diagnose, and optimize production processing chains in close collaboration with development teams.
  • Provide regular reporting on your activities and immediately escalate alerts in case of emergencies or critical incidents.
