Civil Engineering Advisor - Roads (secondment)

Project overview

As a Civil Engineering Advisor - Roads, you will be involved in the management, maintenance, and renewal of roads in the public space of Amersfoort.

Profile of the suited interim professional:

• Reviewing tender and contract documents in the field of asphalt for accuracy, completeness, and feasibility, and managing the associated contracts.
• Conducting directorship over projects involving cables, pipes, and asphalt, and supervising asphalt projects.
• Guiding projects in the public space from tender to execution.
• Fulfilling the role of client towards affiliated parties and contractors within framework agreements.
• Coordinating with professionals, residents, interest groups, agencies, and companies, both internally and externally.
• Identifying needs and connecting internal tasks with external wishes.
• Participating in construction meetings and working groups.
• Contributing to the organization of winter road maintenance in the city.
• Preparing cost estimates, negotiating with contractors, and monitoring budgets.
• Working and thinking level at HBO or WO level.
• Education in civil engineering or a comparable field.
• Knowledge of asphalt, clearly explained in the CV.
• Knowledge of pavement structures.
• Affinity with project-based work is considered a plus.
• Senior or medior level required, easily reachable due to the lack of junior knowledge in the team.
