Senior Asset Manager Housing Roads

Project overview

You will strategically advise on the management, maintenance, replacement, and development of road infrastructure within a municipal organization.

Profile of the suited interim professional:

• Develop and update strategic management plans for roads, civil structures, and public lighting
• Prepare multi-year management, maintenance, and execution plans and investment programs
• Advise on replacement tasks, area development, and lifespan extension of capital goods
• Act as an administrative client for integral civil engineering projects
• Formulate project assignments and monitor scope, quality, planning, and budget
• Prepare administrative decision-making on project initiatives and investment credits
• Advise on the prioritization of investment projects within multi-year programming
• Contribute to the Planning & Control cycle
• Prepare college advice, council proposals, and administrative memos
• Advise management and administration on strategic issues within the Roads asset
• Coordinate with other assets within the public space
• Advise on the further development of asset management processes and management frameworks
• Completed education in civil engineering, asset management, technical public administration, or comparable at a minimum HBO-bachelor level
• Minimum 5 years of work experience as an asset manager, road manager, or comparable position within a municipal organization
• Work experience in preparing management plans, multi-year maintenance programs, and investment plans
• Experience in advising administrators and with municipal decision-making processes, such as college and council proposals
• Experience in converting management tasks into financial frameworks, including budgets and investment credits
• Availability for the full assignment, including possible extensions, for an average of 24 to 32 hours per week
