Project overview

Capefront is looking for a Construction Superintendent specialized in Civil Engineering to work on an industrial construction and revamping project.

The mission takes place mainly on the construction site, in a demanding industrial environment including construction work, multidisciplinary interfaces, and underground networks.

Your Role

Under the responsibility of the Site Manager, you will be responsible for the operational management of the construction work assigned to you.

Your Main Responsibilities

• Location: La Balme-les-Grottes, in Isère, with presence on the construction site.
• Start Date: As soon as possible.
• Duration: Approximately 8 months, until June 30, 2027.
• Working Hours: Based on 40 hours per week.
• Mission Type: Service provision, with daily billing.
• Mobility: Occasional travel to sites within a radius of approximately 50 km may be necessary.

• You will supervise the discipline supervisors in charge of the work.
• You will coordinate the companies and subcontractors present on the construction site.
• You will control the execution of the work in accordance with approved plans, specifications, and procedures.
• You will monitor the progress of the work against the overall schedule.
• You will review and approve company schedules, particularly three-week lookahead schedules.
• You will verify that the necessary resources are properly mobilized.
• You will ensure that work areas, or Work-Fronts, are available to allow for the execution of activities.
• You will identify deviations, blockages, and operational issues.
• You will propose action plans to management when necessary.
• You will ensure the coordination of co-activity between different companies and disciplines.
• You will participate in daily and weekly coordination meetings.
• You will contribute to the implementation and respect of the site HSE plan.
• You will promote HSE culture among the teams present on the ground.
• You will participate in inspections, quality acceptance, and follow-up of corrective actions.
• You will ensure the application of work permits and rules applicable to work carried out under Decree 1992.
• You will compile daily work reports and quantities completed.
• You will participate in the drafting of the weekly site report.
• You will document modifications and the evolution of the work.
• You will work in coordination with the start-up, completion, and mechanical completion teams.
• You will provide feedback to the Project and Construction teams.
