For the Metropolitan Region Eindhoven, YER is looking for a Cluster Manager Expertise and Knowledge / Land Strategy Advisor.

The Position

The Metropolitan Region Eindhoven (MRE) faces a significant realization challenge. To promote the scaling of realization, a Cluster Manager Expertise and Knowledge / Land Strategy Advisor is sought. A professional who operates with an overview and experience at the intersection of content, process, collaboration, and execution.

The MRE Realization Company is the regional implementation partner within the MRE collaboration of 21 municipalities. It helps local municipalities to achieve realization faster and smarter by better utilizing regional cooperation. The MRE Realization Company consists of the realization teams for housing, mobility, energy infrastructure, and work locations. In addition to these teams, a cluster for expertise and knowledge is being established. From this team, specific development specialisms will be deployed to support a wide variety of issues in area development and infra projects in the region.

This includes specialisms such as land strategy, legal affairs, planning economics, acquisition, etc.

Goal of the Assignment

The goal of the assignment is to enable scaling in the MRE region through the deployment of expertise and knowledge. The assignment is twofold. In addition to responsibility for the cluster team, advice will be provided on specific land strategy issues. Special attention will be paid to setting up and organizing the cluster team in line with the activities of the 4 realization teams and in line with the available expertise and knowledge within the regional municipalities. Positioning

The Cluster Manager Expertise and Knowledge / Land Strategy Advisor works on behalf of the MRE Realization Company and is part of the core team. In the context of ongoing cases, there will be close coordination with the 4 realization teams, program and subsidy management MRE, involved municipalities, regional partners, and provincial and national governments. The contractor operates with a high degree of self-direction, with a strong sense of responsibility for both substantive results and the functioning of the Realization Company as a whole.

The Cluster Manager Expertise and Knowledge / Land Strategy Advisor is responsible for bringing expertise and knowledge to various area developments, construction, and infra projects (cases) in different municipalities within the MRE. The focus is on projects from the initiative phase through to realization, with acceleration and feasibility being central. Extra attention is given to projects subsidized by Beethoven funds.
