Commissioning Engineer Generator Protection Systems

Project overview

We are looking for an experienced commissioning engineer for generator protection systems at our location in Bavaria. In this role, you will be responsible for the parameterization, testing, and commissioning of modern protection relay systems for international customers worldwide.

Your tasks include performing functional tests and system starts, creating and revising protection concepts, and technical documentation. You will perform fault diagnostics and resolve issues with protection, control, and management systems. You will also coordinate technical discussions with customers, site teams, and subcontractors during project execution.

For this position, you should have a degree in electrical engineering, energy technology, or a comparable technical qualification. You have practical experience in commissioning, field service, or protection technology in the energy plant environment. Knowledge of modern protection relay systems and their parameterization and testing is essential. Experience with professional testing and measuring equipment completes your profile.

Very good English skills and willingness to travel internationally are required, as you will be deployed worldwide at customer sites. The work takes place on-site at our location with regular external assignments.
