Mechanical Engineering Plant Engineer

Project overview

We are looking for an experienced engineer for the design and support of marine engineering plants and systems. In this role, you will accompany and coordinate technical projects from design through manufacturing to commissioning.

Your responsibilities include technical support for design, manufacturing, and commissioning, participation in the planning, testing, and acceptance of marine operating systems, and ensuring schedule, quality, and project specifications. You will coordinate specialist departments, suppliers, and customers in the project environment and be responsible for smooth project management.

For this position, you should have a degree in plant engineering, marine engineering, or a comparable technical qualification. Alternatively, we accept further training as a technician with relevant professional experience. You have experience in requirements management, ideally with common tools in this area. Proficiency in MS Office applications is required.

Knowledge of PLM systems and experience with ERP systems and technical development processes are advantageous. Good German language skills, both written and spoken, are necessary. You will work hybrid at a location in Lower Saxony and bring coordination skills and technical understanding.
