Commissioning Engineers for Data Center Project

Project overview

We are looking for experienced Commissioning Engineers for a large, mission-critical data center project in Finland. As part of a specialized commissioning team, you will play a key role in the commissioning and quality assurance of complex infrastructure systems.

Your tasks include carrying out commissioning activities in the areas of mechanical, electrical, and critical infrastructure. You will conduct and coordinate FAT, SAT, IST, and integrated system tests, inspect and verify installations for compliance with project specifications, and ensure the safe commissioning and operational readiness of all systems. Furthermore, you will identify and resolve technical issues and comprehensively document all commissioning activities.

You will work closely with commissioning managers, project managers, contractors, and other engineering teams, and support the development of commissioning procedures and improvements in system reliability.

We expect a degree in mechanical engineering, electrical engineering, or building services engineering, as well as at least 3 years of experience in commissioning or mission-critical environments. Experience with data center or critical infrastructure projects is required. You should have sound knowledge of MEP systems, BMS, building automation, and Quality Commissioning (QCx), as well as skills in reading technical drawings and problem-solving.

This position is advertised on a freelance/contract basis. Candidates must be self-employed and possess an EU work permit or unrestricted work authorization for Finland/EU. Visa sponsorship is not offered.
