Project overview

The assignment focuses on communication and participation surrounding the reception and integration of newcomers.

Profile of the suited interim professional:

• Developing and monitoring the strategic communication line regarding reception and integration
• Advising the municipality on participation, environmental communication, and administrative developments
• Ensuring coherence between different communication trajectories
• Managing and coordinating the execution of communication activities
• Involving and informing residents and stakeholders about developments
• Anticipating new developments regarding the reception of Ukrainian displaced persons and asylum seekers and providing strategic advice on this
• Diploma at HBO bachelor level
• At least 5 years of experience in the role of strategic communication advisor at a municipality or other government organization
• Experience advising executives, directors, program managers, or steering committees within a political-administrative context
• Preferably at least 3 years of experience with participation processes and communication regarding socially sensitive or spatial issues
• Preferably at least 3 years of experience advising executives, directors, program managers, or steering committees
• Preferably at least one reference from a comparable assignment in the last 3 years
