Communications Advisor for Newcomer Reception Project Montfoort

Assignment focused on strategic and operational communication regarding the project for the reception of newcomers at the municipality of Montfoort.

Profile of the suited interim professional:

• Develop a communication strategy for the project
• Elaborate communication plans
• Advise on communication issues to the executive board and the project team
• Manage external communication towards various stakeholders
• Prepare and facilitate consultations with residents, resident groups, and community organizations
• Maintain relationships with involved parties
• Write web texts, news and press releases, and social media posts
• Organize meetings and surveys to reach target groups
• Support press contacts and handle media relations
• Act as a contact person for the regional network
• Monitor and optimize the effectiveness of the communication approach
• Completed education at a minimum HBO bachelor's level
• Minimum 5 years of experience as a communications advisor, gained in the last 10 years
• Work experience with emergency reception and issues related to the distribution law
• Minimum 3 years of work experience in the last 5 years with communication and participation regarding the reception of newcomers in a small municipality with fewer than 15,000 inhabitants
• Minimum 2 years of work experience participating in regional network collaborations, preferably between municipalities, province, and ministry
