Commvault Expert

Project overview

We are looking for a Commvault Expert to work with one of our major clients based in Fontenay-sous-Bois (94), in the context of optimizing, automating, and strengthening the cyber resilience of its backup infrastructure. You will work on a Commvault platform within a complex and critical technical environment.

Profile sought:

We are looking for an expert, autonomous, and rigorous profile with solid experience in Commvault and backup infrastructures in complex environments. You have a mastery of issues related to storage, virtualization, and Cloud, with a strong sensitivity to the challenges of cyber resilience and backup security.

You are capable of intervening in the administration and operational maintenance of the platform as well as on architecture, hardening, and automation topics. Your mastery of Commvault, GCP, Nutanix AHV, Intellisnap, and Quantum storage environments allows you to evolve autonomously in a demanding and critical technical context.

Status: Independent / Freelance

• Administer and ensure the operational maintenance of the Commvault platform.
• Perform technical audits and hardening operations to strengthen the security and cyber resilience of backup infrastructures.
• Integrate and operate Commvault in a Google Cloud Platform (GCP) environment.
• Administer storage infrastructures and networks dedicated to backup environments.
• Manage Nutanix AHV / Acropolis Hypervisor environments and Intellisnap functionalities.
• Implement and administer Autorecovery and Threat Scan functionalities.
• Ensure the integration and administration of Oracle ZDLRA and Oracle RAC backups.
• Design, develop, and maintain Commvault workflows.
• Automate processes related to backup, restore, and operations.
• Integrate authentication and security mechanisms with Okta.
• Participate in the optimization of backup architectures and processes.
• Contribute to the continuous improvement of the platform's availability, security, and resilience.
• Proven expertise in Commvault administration and operations.
• Mastery of Quantum storage environments.
• Good command of storage and sharing protocols SMB / CIFS, NFS, and S3.
• Good knowledge of Google Cloud Platform (GCP) environments.
• Mastery of Nutanix AHV / Acropolis Hypervisor virtualization environments.
• Experience with Intellisnap technologies.
• Knowledge of Commvault's Autorecovery and Threat Scan functionalities.
• Experience with cyber resilience, security, and hardening issues for backup infrastructures.
• Good command of networks and topologies dedicated to backup environments.
• Skills in automation and creation of Commvault workflows.
• Knowledge of Oracle ZDLRA / Oracle RAC environments highly appreciated.
• Knowledge of Okta authentication and security mechanisms.
