Component Engineer

Project overview

The assignment involves developing and managing reusable components within a low-code platform (Mendix) for the Dutch Tax Administration.

Profile of the suited interim professional:

• Developing and optimizing reusable components within the low-code platform
• Ensuring quality, security, performance, version control, and documentation of components
• Ensuring that components comply with applicable architectural principles, OTAP guidelines, and compliance requirements
• Designing SOAP and REST integrations with prioritization based on chain dependencies
• Aligning with stakeholders at both operational and strategic levels
• Minimum 3 years of experience with the mentioned methodologies
• Minimum 3 years of experience with Mendix 11
• Knowledge of Java, JavaScript, Python, HTML5, and CSS
• Mendix Advanced Developer certificate
• Experience with DevOps, Agile, and Scrum
• Knowledge of lifecycle management and service-oriented working within an ITIL context
• Minimum 3 years of experience with stakeholder management at various levels
• Perfect command of the Dutch language, both spoken and in the CV
• Preferred: experience with Mendix 9 and 10
• Preferred: knowledge of CI/CD tools such as ArgoCD and Bitbucket
• Preferred: experience with container platforms such as OpenShift 4.x, operators, and helm charts
• Preferred: understanding of security contexts, resource limits, and air-gapped deployments
• Preferred: strong skills in API design, data modeling, and integration patterns
• Preferred: experience with unit testing, automated testing, and deployment pipelines
