Job description
The client in the Energy and Natural Resources sector is looking for a confirmed AMOA (Application Management Assistance) for an acquisition and supervision information system. The role involves bridging business needs and development teams, managing specifications, and ensuring functional testing.
Project overview
Our client in the Energy and Natural Resources sector is looking for a confirmed AMOA – Acquisition and Supervision Information System H/F
Mission Description:
Context
The mission concerns an acquisition and supervision information system that collects data from communicating gas meters and supervises the technical and business operation of the remote reading chain. It notably ensures the management of daily remote readings, the analysis of equipment status, and the monitoring of network performance. Data is transmitted by radio over a 169 MHz LAN to concentrators, then routed to the information system via a WAN connection. Approximately 10,000 concentrators are deployed.
The system covers the application components enabling secure communication with the communicating chain, acquisition of measurements and supervision data, remote order transmission, park configuration management, and event and alarm processing. It relies notably on SCAPE from SAGEMCOM for managing communications with concentrators and their updates, as well as EJBCA for managing certificates and public keys. The scope of the mission does not include the meters and concentrators themselves.
The system also communicates with other information systems for index processing and consumption calculation, BI feeding, incident management, and interventions.
A major challenge is to collect and process data frames from transmitters during their respective gas day, and to have a communicating park that can be collected and supervised.
Mission
Under the responsibility of the application manager, the confirmed AMOA contributes to the product vision, facilitates discussions with stakeholders, and ensures the interface between business units and the development team. In a complex environment, the incumbent challenges needs, analyzes their stakes, and contributes to guiding choices towards relevant solutions. They participate in studies and workshops concerning the evolution of the scope.
