Job description
Manage construction and commissioning for electrical engineering projects, including coordination, quality assurance, and documentation.
Responsibilities
- Construction management and supervision of electrical engineering: construction power, control technology, switchgear and transformers, UPS, cabling, lightning protection
- Coordination of executing companies and suppliers, schedule tracking, cost control, and claim assessment
- Safety inspections, quality assurance, construction logs, site meetings, acceptances, and punch lists
- Acceptance of solderless pipe connections
- Commissioning management electrical engineering: commissioning manual, checklists, risk analyses, cold and hot commissioning
- Review of final documentation together with specialist planners and operations
Requirements
- Degree as Dipl.-Ing., Technician, or Master in Electrical Engineering
- Experience as a construction manager or commissioning manager in plant engineering, energy, or gas
- Expertise for potentially explosive atmospheres (DIN EN 60079-14 / VDE 0165-1)
- Confident handling of VDE 0100, 0101, and 0660, ATEX, Low Voltage, EMC, and Pressure Equipment Directives
