Background:

As an employee in the "Construction Site Services" circle, you will work in the "Operate and Maintain Assets" area at the Basel / Kaiseraugst site.

The "Operate and Maintain Assets" area at Roche Pharma in Basel/Kaiseraugst has the purpose "We do asset care – for the smooth operation of the site, buildings, and facilities".

As an employee in the Construction Site Services circle, you will work in a team of thirteen colleagues. You will be the interface between the project and the executing companies on the construction site. The scope of duties includes planning, managing, and organizing construction sites, supervising the executing companies, and quality and cost control of the work performed in the EMSR field. As an important part of the projects, you will ensure the execution and handover of the projects you manage to the plant operator, thus ensuring a high standard of our products and services.

In the strictly regulated pharmaceutical environment, you will also use your experience to ensure that the required quality standards are met on the construction site and in documentation within the GMP environment.

Our circle is looking for a person in the field of electrical engineering and automation. Candidates with a completed vocational training and many years of professional experience, as well as further training as a master craftsman or technician or similar in the field of electrical engineering with several years of professional experience are preferred.

The perfect candidate has a basic training in electrical engineering with further training (e.g., HF, Technician, Master Craftsman, or Electrical Project Manager) and at least 3 years of professional experience in project management and construction site management of EMSR and electrical installation systems in industry. In addition to proven experience as a Construction Manager in the pharmaceutical environment, the person has sound knowledge of site safety, NIN/NIV standards, and basic GMP knowledge.

The profile is rounded off by very good German language skills, solid IT skills (Google Suite, MS Office, ideally SAP), and preferably English and French language skills.

• Site planning, organization, management, and coordination of the construction site
• Supervision of external company employees
• Quality control in the field of automation, electrical engineering, and also cross-disciplinary
• Reporting in coordination with local engineering
• Implementation of site safety according to Roche specifications
• Commissioning and support of external companies until defect rectification
• Hand-over of the completed trade in cooperation with local engineering
• Input for trade-specific planning (e.g., manufacturers, materials, etc.)
• Input for planning regarding deadlines and construction progress during the CC phase
• Review and evaluation of offers and specifications
• Obtaining offers and cost estimates
• Participation in awarding contracts to executing companies
• Reviewing / Checking as-built documentation
• Completed vocational training and ideally further training or equivalent in electrical engineering (PL / Technician / Master Craftsman / HF Electrical Engineering)
• At least 3 years of professional experience in project management of electrical and automation systems (EMSR)
• Experience as CM in the field of EMSR and in the pharmaceutical environment is mandatory
• Basic GMP knowledge
• Experience and activity in the field of electrical installation in industry
• Knowledge of site safety

• Good knowledge of low-voltage installation standards NIN, NIV
• Good knowledge of Google Suite and MS Office, process engineering knowledge and SAP knowledge are desirable
• Very good German language skills in speaking and writing are required, English and French language skills are an advantage
• Knowledge of occupational safety, SiGeKo or safety assistant/specialist etc.
• Basic knowledge of fire protection, possibly courses related to ventilation systems, etc.
