Project overview

Construction management in steel bridge construction on the construction site. Coordination and control of all subcontractors and involved trades. Ensuring a smooth construction process in a critical project phase. Coordination with project management, client, and other project participants. Monitoring deadlines, quality, occupational safety, and execution on site. Support of the overall project manager in the successful realization of the bridge project. Supervision of the final assembly and the upcoming insertion of the steel bridge.

Quick identification and resolution of technical and organizational challenges on the construction site.

Requirements

Several years of experience in the construction management of steel and bridge construction projects. Sound knowledge in steel bridge construction, ideally in the area of railway bridges. Project experience in the environment of Deutsche Bahn. High willingness to travel and readiness for regular presence on the construction site, if necessary also on weekends. Demonstrable experience in demanding and deadline-critical construction phases. Good planning and technical understanding for managing complex project situations. Experience with assembly and insertion processes of steel bridges.

Assertiveness, crisis resilience, and high solution orientation. Knowledge in welding technology. Experience with corrosion protection and coating systems in steel construction. Certifications or additional qualifications in steel or bridge construction. Project is in a critical construction phase shortly before the insertion of the bridge. Steel bridge weighing approx. 40-50 tons. High coordination and communication requirements on the construction site.
