Construction Preparation – Project Employee Geotechnics Land Route

Responsibilities

WHAT WE EXPECT:

• Structuring and technically executing tenders for geotechnical field investigations on land cable routes
• Awarding of engineering/exploration/laboratory services and technical contract management
• Technical control of campaign management, esp. leadership of construction supervision and support, experts, drilling/probing companies, and other internal and external campaign participants
• Attending on-site appointments in the project area
• Quality assurance of field, laboratory, and documentation work
• Geotechnical and hydrogeological consulting for civil engineering and land cable installation
• Involving and communicating with relevant internal and external interfaces
• Participation in approval processes
• Participation in the development of processes and standardizations
• Successfully completed studies in Geosciences, Geotechnics, Civil Engineering, Geo-Resource Management, Environmental Sciences, or a similar field of study, or a comparable qualification
• Several years of professional experience in linear infrastructure projects as well as sound knowledge of geotechnical requirements as a basis for construction implementation
• Experience in the creation of geotechnical concepts and reports as well as in the support and execution of exploration and laboratory services
• Experience in service provider management and project management
• Experience in communication with responsible authorities
• Confident demeanor, strong communication skills, and assertiveness
• Independent work, strong sense of responsibility, and team spirit within interdisciplinary project teams
