Consultant for AI Governance and Microsoft Technologies

Project overview

We are looking for an experienced consultant or architect (m/f/d) with a focus on AI Governance in the Microsoft environment. You will support our client in strategically building a sustainable governance structure for AI solutions, Copilot applications, and AI agents. The focus is on creating an overarching governance and operating model rather than individual use cases.

Your tasks include developing a comprehensive governance framework for Microsoft AI technologies, defining roles, responsibilities, and release processes, as well as establishing lifecycle management. You will develop standards for agent governance, naming conventions, environment and tenant structures, as well as security & compliance. Furthermore, you will design an operating model with monitoring structures and advise on the integration of technical expertise into governance processes.

Another focus is the design of a central point of contact or Center of Excellence for AI topics, as well as the governance of Microsoft Copilot, Copilot Studio, Microsoft AI Foundry, Azure AI Services, and the Power Platform.

You bring demonstrable experience with Microsoft AI and Copilot technologies, Azure architecture know-how, as well as knowledge in AI governance and operating models. Proficiency in Microsoft Copilot Studio, Microsoft AI Foundry, and Power Platform Governance is required. You have sound knowledge of security, compliance, and authorization concepts in the Microsoft environment and can communicate confidently with stakeholders at the specialist and management levels.

Experience in building AI Centers of Excellence, Data Governance, SharePoint Online Governance, as well as change and adoption concepts for Copilot implementations are advantageous.
