Job description
We are looking for a consultant to support the human-centered design of automation and the sustainable activation of an already implemented AI assistant for a client in the public sector.
Project overview
For our client in the public sector, we are looking for a consultant (m/f/d) for the human-centered design of automation and the sustainable activation of the use of an already implemented AI assistant.
Framework data:
Project background:
Human Friendly Automation (HFA) forms the strategic and methodological framework of an Automation Center of Excellence. Automation should be designed to be human-centered, transparent, comprehensible, accessible, and effective. For this purpose, methods, guardrails, enablement and participation formats, as well as instruments for measuring impact, are developed and anchored in the specialist and product areas.
A specific use case is the sustainable use of an already implemented digital AI assistant for organization-internal knowledge and specific work cases. The focus is on registered users who have not yet been active or have been active only rarely. Existing change, enablement, and communication formats are to be further developed in a target group-specific manner and directly linked to real tasks.
An initial 90-day activation sprint creates the foundation for steering, target group approach, impact measurement, and initial activation formats. Further learning and feedback cycles are intended to strengthen recurring usage, trust, and routine. The results serve as a blueprint for further automation and AI projects.
- Start: 01.11.2026
- Duration: 31.03.2027
- Remote: approx. 80% (approx. 532h)
- OnSite: approx. 20% (approx. 133h)
- Utilization: ~133 h/month (approx. 665h total)
- Location: Nuremberg
Responsibilities
- Support in clarifying mandate, responsibilities, and collaboration model, including RACI, steering rhythm, dependencies, and feedback loops.
- Collection, structuring, consolidation, and prioritization of user, target group, and work case requirements, and their translation into comprehensible HFA requirements and target group-specific activation approaches.
- Analysis of usage barriers, acceptance factors, accessibility, transparency, and human responsibilities.
- Conception, testing, and optimization of work case and role-specific enablement formats, including task sessions, prompt libraries, cheat sheets, challenges, hop-ins, and office hours.
- Development of formats for managers and multipliers, support of role model usage, and establishment of scalable activation networks.
- Further development of existing and creation of new communication and marketing formats, including low-threshold activation measures and understandable release information.
- Definition of a continuous E2E feedback process: structured recording, prioritization, and feeding back of usage barriers and feedback into product development; closing feedback loops and making improvements visible to users.
- Establishment of a robust KPI baseline and technical description of metrics for activation, recurring usage, added value, satisfaction, and quality; conducting reviews and iterative adaptation of measures.
- Quality assurance of requirements and documentation, and ensuring the interface between the specialist side, change/enablement, product development, and testing.
- Documentation and standardization of successful procedures as a transferable HFA blueprint; knowledge transfer to internal employees and sustainable anchoring of methods and results.
- Graphical development, preparation, and implementation of designs, presentation templates, and logos.
