Consultant - Introduction/Training Microsoft Project

Project overview

Analysis of existing project management processes and tools. Implementation of the introduction or optimization of Microsoft Project. Customization of Microsoft Project to customer requirements (links / dependencies). Conducting a workshop for project managers, team leaders, and users. Support for a pilot project and discussion of practical applications. Advice on project schedule planning and assistance with resource planning. Support in setting up project reporting and progress control.

Requirements

Several years of experience in using Microsoft Project. Sound knowledge of project management according to established standards (e.g., PMI, IPMA, PRINCE2) desirable. Experience in conducting user training and workshops very helpful. Very good knowledge of schedule, resource, and capacity planning. Experience in creating project templates, reports, and dashboards necessary. Knowledge of Microsoft 365 and the integration of Project with Teams, SharePoint, and Power BI advantageous. Experience in change management and supporting transformation projects. Strong communication and moderation skills.

Independent, structured, and customer-oriented way of working. Very good German language skills in speaking and writing, English skills advantageous. Certification in project management (PMP, IPMA, PRINCE2 or comparable). Experience in medium-sized or industrial company structures. Knowledge in the PMO environment and multi-project management.

Nice to have

Conducting coaching sessions and user support during the introduction phase.
