Consulting Assignment | Senior Network and Security Consultant, Oslo

Project overview

For a private client, we are looking for a senior network and security consultant for a short assignment where the client will take over the operation and management of their existing network and security infrastructure. The environment is taken over as it stands today and comprises around 30 locations in the USA and Denmark. It consists of a large Meraki environment with firewalls and switches, Palo Alto at 4-5 locations in the USA, and a hybrid platform with both Azure and on-prem. VPNs terminate in the cloud, and approximately half of the Palo Alto environment is in the cloud.

The consultant will take over administration and operation, and simultaneously create an overview and structure in the environment. Documentation will be done in Confluence and NetBox, diagrams and SOPs will be created, and knowledge transfer to the client will be ensured. In addition, the consultant will provide the client's organization with a general introduction to Palo Alto. The client preferably seeks one experienced resource who covers the full spectrum from Meraki to Palo Alto and Azure.

Your qualifications

We are looking for a consultant with the following qualifications and characteristics:

• Senior experience with operation of network and security infrastructure
• Solid experience with Cisco Meraki, including firewalls and switches
• Solid experience with Palo Alto, both on-prem and in the cloud
• Experience with Azure and hybrid environments, including VPN termination in the cloud
• Experience with technical documentation in Confluence and NetBox
• Enjoys sharing knowledge and training others
• Start: flexible
