• Work Location: 100% on-site in Alsdorf near Aachen
• Direct on-site contact person for the IT Service Desk (Single Point of Contact).
• On-site support for the network infrastructure (hardware replacement, troubleshooting, patching).
• Installation, support, and error analysis of end devices (PCs, handheld scanners, label and laser printers).
• Software installations and changes after approval by central IT.
• Support of the local booking system OLP in cooperation with IT colleagues.
• Problem processing and resolution using remote tools (especially printer support).
• Active support in cross-site IT project work.
• Compliance with inspection deadlines and ensuring the functionality of technical/electrical equipment.
• Commissioning, control, and documentation of work by external companies and service providers.
• Management of quotes and order processing for spare parts and hardware.
• Cross-functional project work in various technical subject areas.
• Project Experience: Demonstrable practical experience in projects at the interface between IT support and industrial maintenance (Shopfloor / OT environment).
• IT Hands-on: Routine error analysis and troubleshooting (on-site & remote) as well as in-depth experience with network infrastructure, industrial hardware (scanners, printers), and software rollouts.
• Maintenance Know-how: Practical experience in the maintenance, troubleshooting, and repair of electrical and mechanical production facilities.
• Work Style ("Plug & Play"): Quick familiarization with new systems (e.g., OLP), absolute independence, and self-responsible action from the first day of the project.
• Service Provider Management: Experience in coordinating, managing, and documenting external technicians and suppliers.
• Communication: Strong service orientation as an interface (SPOC) for all departments, as well as fluent German language skills.
• Compliance Requirement: Submission of a clean criminal record certificate (not older than 6 months) is mandatory for project start.
