Consulting Assignment | Senior Platform Architect/Developer, Oslo

Project overview

For a public client, we are looking for a senior platform architect/developer who will further develop the development platform and build common platform services for the development teams. The goal is a modern and solid platform that makes it easier to develop, test, deploy, and operate their own solutions.

The consultant will work with target architecture, technology choices, and standardization. In practice, this means further developing the Kubernetes platform (AKS), improving CI/CD, automating manual tasks, and strengthening observability and security. Tools will also be created to make the teams more self-sufficient, and assistance will be provided in migrating existing solutions to the platform.

The role requires close collaboration with developers, architects, and operations, and the consultant is expected to provide technical direction and share knowledge with the client's own employees. Initially, one must be at the office every day. Later, up to one home office day per week may be possible.

• At least 5 years of experience as a platform architect, platform developer, or equivalent in complex development environments
• At least 3 years of relevant education from college or university, or at least 10 years of relevant experience
• Very good Norwegian language skills, spoken and written
• Documented experience with setup, further development, and deployment of Kubernetes platforms for development teams
• Experience with CI/CD, automation, and DevOps principles
• Team player who communicates well, shares knowledge, and quickly learns a new domain
