Job description

We are looking for a Controller to support the Service Management department during its dissolution phase, focusing on financial follow-up, reporting, and handover to new entities.

Project overview

We are looking for a Controller for Service Management.

Background:

At the turn of the year, the Service Committee and Service Management in Lund Municipality will be dissolved. From January 2027, all operations – including meals, cleaning, property management, printing, and transport – will be distributed to new committees. An intensive effort is currently underway to implement this change.

To ensure a well-executed dissolution, the department needs reinforcement on the financial side during the dissolution period. We are looking for a controller who will take clear responsibility for financial follow-up until the last day, contribute to the closing of accounts, and ensure that the operations' finances are handed over in good condition.

You will support the management team and operational managers in ongoing work and collaborate closely with operational financial support and the accounting unit for the closing of accounts. • Participating practically in the dissolution of the committee and management, ensuring that the operations' finances, assets, and liabilities are correctly transferred to the new committees
  • Compiling handover documentation and sharing analyses and insights that can contribute to the financial work for 2027 in the distributed operations
  • Being close and accessible financial support for the operations during the transition
  • Other investigations or closely related tasks
