Data & Interfaces Analyst (Aladdin Integration Specialist)

We are looking for an experienced Data & Interfaces Analyst (Aladdin Integration Specialist) to join a project within the investment management domain.

You will be responsible for designing, developing, testing, and supporting integrations across a complex investment management ecosystem, with a strong focus on BlackRock Aladdin.

The role covers the end-to-end lifecycle of inbound and outbound data flows between Aladdin and front-, middle-, and back-office platforms. You will work with data including positions, trades, holdings, NAVs, pricing, performance, security master, cash, market, and reference data.

You will collaborate closely with business, investment operations, data, and technology teams to deliver reliable and scalable integrations. The role also involves supporting connections to data warehouses, reporting platforms, custodians, external vendors, and legacy applications.

• Owning the end-to-end lifecycle of inbound and outbound BlackRock Aladdin integrations
• Designing, developing, testing, deploying, and maintaining interfaces between Aladdin and other investment management platforms
• Working with positions, trades, holdings, NAVs, pricing, performance, security master, cash, market, and reference data
• Performing data mapping, transformation, reconciliation, validation, and exception management
• Leading System Integration Testing (SIT), User Acceptance Testing (UAT), and production validation activities
• Monitoring interface performance and resolving integration and data-related incidents
• Performing root-cause analysis and supporting production troubleshooting
• Integrating Aladdin with data warehouses, reporting solutions, custodians, legacy applications, and external data providers
• Identifying opportunities for automation, operational efficiency, and integration modernization
• Working closely with business and technical stakeholders across the investment management environment
• Strong hands-on experience with BlackRock Aladdin and its integration ecosystem
• Practical understanding of Aladdin Data Cloud and associated integration frameworks
• Strong understanding of asset management and investment operations
• Experience with portfolio management, fund accounting, trading lifecycle, performance measurement, and regulatory reporting
• Experience working with investment data such as:
• security master data
• portfolio positions and holdings
• transactions and trades
• market and pricing data
• valuations and NAVs
• cash and reference data
• ESG data
• Hands-on experience using Python and SQL for data and integration-related solutions
• Experience developing and consuming REST APIs and working with JSON/XML
• Practical experience with ETL/ELT, data ingestion, transformation, reconciliation, and interface testing
• Experience with modern data platforms such as Snowflake, Databricks, Spark, or Airflow
• Ability to design scalable, reliable, and resilient integration solutions
• Strong troubleshooting, data validation, and root-cause analysis skills
• Ability to work effectively across business, operations, and technology teams

Nice to have

• Experienced in using AI tools in day-to-day workflow
• Experience designing or building Aladdin interfaces covering pricing, positions, NAV, security master, or trade data
• Experience integrating Aladdin with custodians, legacy platforms, and external data providers
• Knowledge of data quality frameworks, exception management, reconciliation, and automated validation
• Exposure to private markets and alternative investments
• Broader knowledge of investment management technology ecosystems
• Experience with AI/GenAI solutions supporting investment management, data, or operational processes
• Experience with Retrieval-Augmented Generation (RAG)
• Exposure to Snowflake Cortex
• Experience implementing intelligent data-quality or validation services
• Experience with operational analytics and workflow automation
