As a Data Analyst for the Social Domain, you will provide reliable and timely management information for policy, execution, management, and governance. You will focus on maintaining and updating existing information products.

You ensure reliable, unambiguous, and timely management information for policy, execution, management, and governance. You work at the intersection of content, processes, information provision, and technology. The emphasis is on continuing, updating, and delivering existing information products.
You have technical BI knowledge and demonstrable understanding of municipal processes and information needs in the social domain.

The work package of Gemeente Heerenveen ranges from passports, notifications, permits, and municipal taxes to programs concerning housing, accessibility, and climate, and social support, youth policy, and participation. To carry out these diverse tasks carefully, Gemeente Heerenveen brings together subject-matter expert teams with functions for legal affairs, finance, information provision, and communication.

- Minimum HBO (higher professional education) work and thinking level (demonstrable in CV)
- Demonstrable minimum of 3 years of experience as a data analyst or BI analyst
- Demonstrable experience with Cognos Reporting or Cognos Analytics
- Demonstrable experience with data analysis within a municipal or government organization
- Experience with social legislation and processes within the social domain
- Demonstrable experience with SQL and data modeling
- Experience in the municipal social domain – You have demonstrable experience with data analysis in the areas of Wmo, Youth Act, Participation Act, and/or Debt Counseling within a municipality (explain in CV)
- Experience with Cognos – You have demonstrable experience developing dashboards, reports, and management information in Cognos (explain in CV)
- Experience with Suite for Social Domain – You have experience with data access and analysis within Suite for Social Domain (explain in CV)
- Experience with MensCentraal or comparable suites – You have experience with data analysis from MensCentraal, Civil Affairs, or client view systems (explain in CV)
- Advisory skills – You can translate analyses into administrative and management information (explain in CV)
