Project overview
We are looking for a senior candidate for the role of Senior Data Developer with knowledge of SAS Base and SQL for our client from the banking sector on a project for the development of algorithms for risk management.
Project requirements
- A unique opportunity to participate in the development of advanced algorithms for risk management, which form the basis for key decisions in the banking sector
- Involvement in a team focused on data management, with the main goal of data transformation and building robust control mechanisms over extensive data sets
- Development and optimization of complex data solutions using SAS, SAS Base, and SQL
- Design and implementation of data transformations, validation controls, and data flows
- Optimization of process performance when processing large volumes of data
- Cooperation with business analysts, architects, and IT teams on the design of technical solutions
- Creation of technical documentation for data flows, transformations, and standards
- Cooperation mode: 3 days onsite (Prague) and 2 days remote
- Advanced experience with:
- Data development (at least 5 years of experience)
- Writing production code in SAS
- Advanced knowledge of:
- SAS Base
- SQL
- Knowledge of:
- Relational databases and data models
- Independent analysis of requirements and design of technical solutions
- Advantage:
- Experience with projects in the banking or financial sector
- Experience with DWH and extensive data integrations
- Knowledge of Teradata, Oracle or similar platforms
