Data Engineer needed for the migration of a data warehouse (SQL Server) and Power BI on-premise reporting environment from RSO to DSU.
Project overview
You will work on the migration of the data warehouse (SQL Server) and the Power BI on-premise reporting environment from RSO to DSU.
Profile of the suited interim professional:
- Setting up and preparing the existing data warehouse and the loading processes
- Unlocking a new data source based on CSV files
- Handling final adjustments to loading processes for existing reports, together with the business analyst and reporting employee
- Migrating the RSO data warehouse to DSU
- Ensuring data quality and documenting origin, lineage, and metadata
- Bachelor's or University level of working and thinking
- Proven knowledge of VBA, SQL Server, SSIS Packages, and C#
- Minimum of 3 years of experience as a data warehouse back-end developer
- Experience with migration projects is a plus
- Proactive, initiative-taking attitude and ability to quickly grasp subject matter
