As a Senior Data Engineer in the "Digital & Data" team, you will contribute to making valuable information available as high-quality data products across the group. You will be an enabler for business units and enjoy transferring knowledge to team members.

Responsibilities

• Requirements analysis and management together with business and product managers
• Implementation of data pipelines using Azure Databricks, Data Factory, Functions
• Taking on architectural tasks for the data platform
• Partial project management in the area of Data Engineering
• New and further development of data pipelines with Python in Databricks
• Creation of integrated, robust, and reusable solutions
• Development of Python/Dash data monitors including alerting and reporting
• Quality assurance, testing, and consulting on DevOps principles
• Clarification of requirements and presentation of reusable solutions
• Creation of project-relevant documentation

• Degree in Computer Science, Business Informatics, or comparable qualification
• 3 to 5 years of experience as a Senior Data Engineer in complex IT projects
• Experience with Azure Databricks, Data Factory, Functions, and Azure DevOps
• Experience with On-Prem BI Tools (SSIS, SSAS, SSRS)
• Experience with Python data pipelines in a Databricks environment
• Strong customer orientation and hands-on mentality
• Industry experience in energy supply is an advantage
• Proven experience in architecture and (partial) project management in the data environment
• Experience with SQL Server
• Very good English skills
