Data Engineer ODI

Project overview

We are looking for an ODI Data Engineer for a 3-month renewable mission in Niort.

The Business Information Systems Department (DSIM) is responsible for the operational maintenance and strategic evolution of the Information System dedicated to life insurance and finance.

To support this ambition, we are looking for an experienced Data Engineer, level III, to join the DATA DSIM development team.

You will join our new DATA team to build, maintain, and optimize data platforms and pipelines, thereby ensuring the reliability and accessibility of data for the entire company.

Key Missions of the DATA Engineer

The Data consultant will report to the project manager of the team and will be an essential technical contributor in the data lifecycle.

The consultant will be at the heart of the new DATA model.

The main missions will include:

Pipeline Design (ETL): Design, develop, and optimize robust and efficient data flows (ETL/ELT) for populating warehouses and DataMarts. (Dataiku - ODI - DBT)

Modeling: Actively participate in the design and implementation of data models (MCD, dimensional modeling) adapted to the business needs of Life Insurance.

Industrialization: Industrialize data preparation, transformation, and governance processes, particularly using the Dataiku tool Visualization and Reporting: Ensure the proper integration of data for its use in Business Intelligence tools, particularly Tableau.

Maintenance and Optimization: Guarantee the performance, quality, and operational maintenance of the infrastructure and data flows. Technical Skills and Expertise Required

We are looking for a technical profile with a strong appetite for data industrialization tools.

Ideally, proficiency in the Dataiku tool is desired for the preparation and industrialization of flows.

Expertise in SQL language. Ability to challenge a solution, estimate realization costs, and successfully complete qualification phases. Visualization:

Knowledge of data integration and optimization for Tableau (or equivalent))

Modeling: Expertise in data models (MCD, dimensional) and the ability to implement them Solid experience in designing and implementing ETL/ELT processes Experience with BO / SAS would be a plus for the migrations to be carried out. Knowledge of the life insurance business would also be a real plus.

Desired Arrangement: Minimum 3 days on-site in Niort, with autonomy
