Job description
Implement and configure Microsoft Purview, establish data governance structures, and integrate Purview into existing data landscapes. Requires experience with Purview and strong German/English skills.
Responsibilities
Profile
- Hands-on implementation and configuration of Microsoft Purview including Data Catalog, Data Map, scans, and connection of relevant data sources
- Development and operational implementation of data governance structures, especially roles, responsibilities, policies, and governance processes
- Implementation of data classification, metadata management, and data lineage to improve transparency and data quality
- Technical integration of Microsoft Purview into existing data landscapes, e.g., Azure, SQL, Data Lake, Power BI, and other data sources
- Close collaboration with business departments and IT, from requirements analysis to concrete technical implementation and optimization
- Completed education in IT (apprenticeship, HTL, FH/University)
- Sound experience in data governance, especially with Purview
- Very good German and English skills
- Service orientation
