Project overview

CONTEXT

Major industrial group in the naval and defense sector, Lorient site. As part of an application migration project, we are looking for a Data Migration Consultant responsible for taking over data from the historical tool to the new target tool.

MISSIONS

Convert data from the source tool using the converter provided by the publisher.

Load the converted data into the target tool.

Identify and address conversion and loading anomalies.

Report anomalies to the publisher and business teams, and follow up until resolution.

Monitor the migration through indicators and regular reporting.

REQUIRED SKILLS

Proven experience in data migration, conversion, and loading (application data takeover).

Ability to analyze, qualify, and track data anomalies.

Ability to coordinate exchanges with a software publisher and business teams.

Ability to maintain tracking indicators in an Agile environment.

Rigor, autonomy, and reporting skills.

DESIRED SKILLS

Knowledge of technical and industrial data management tools (PLM, CMMS, ERP) or quick ability to master business tools.

PROFILE

Confirmed to senior data consultant, 3 to 8 years of experience on data migration or takeover projects.

CONDITIONS

Project details

Lorient (56), 100% on-site, no remote work.

Start date: as soon as possible.

until 02/28/2027, renewal possible.

up to 510 euros HT per day depending on profile.

Status: freelance, payroll outsourcing, or permanent contract.

Work environment

You will join the project team in charge of application migration, on the Lorient industrial site, in direct contact with the publisher of the target solution and the business teams. Operation in Agile mode, with monitoring rituals and regular reporting to project management.
