DBMS Automation Expert (Oracle Exadata/ExaCC, PostgreSQL)

Project overview

Contract role based in Le Mans for a senior DBMS automation expert to support a DBMS tribe working in product-mode squads (PO/Scrum Master). The mission focuses on automating deployment and administration for Oracle (Exadata/ExaCC) and PostgreSQL services, implementing CI/CD for database components, contributing to Infrastructure as Code (Ansible/Terraform/Git/Python), improving self-remediation and proactive monitoring, and helping evolve managed database service offerings including service catalogs, SLAs, and operating/administration/supervision standards.

Responsibilities

• The management of infrastructure solutions is done in product mode: organization into squads under the responsibility of a Product Owner, animation of the product backlog by a Scrum Master, agile rituals.
• Participate in the work of the DBMS tribe, and in particular the PostgreSQL and Oracle DB squads (ExaCC / Exadata environment), in proximity to the squads' POs, as a DBMS automation expert.
• Participate in the evolution of PostgreSQL and Oracle managed services offerings.
• Participate in the definition of operating, administration and supervision standards.
