Job description
The client, a leading mobility and rail transport company, is modernizing its IT landscape and seeks a Delivery Manager to lead a DevOps team. The role involves managing the technical and organizational development of applications, roadmap creation, and stakeholder management.
Project overview
Our client, a leading corporation in mobility and rail transport, is modernizing its IT landscape for operational traffic control by replacing existing legacy systems. In the development unit, modern software products for end-users are being realized in several project teams. These products are further developed and operated partly by one, partly by several collaboratively scaling DevOps teams as single-page applications in a microservices architecture for cloud operation.
The technology used is state-of-the-art (including Cloud, Docker, CI/CD, complete delivery and test automation, integrated vulnerability management). The teams have a strong focus on UX, and the end-user is the central point. Domain-Driven Design (DDD) and Test-Driven Development (TDD) are fundamental tools.
