Design Engineer Station Works (contract)

The assignment involves the technical preparation of expansion, replacement, and new construction projects for distribution and medium-voltage substations.

Profile of the suited interim professional:

• Creating and checking Preliminary Designs (VO) and Final Designs (DO)
• Reviewing Execution Designs (UO)
• Translating technical starting points into executable designs
• Ensuring the quality and completeness of technical designs
• Auditing designs, calculations, and documentation from contractors
• Identifying technical deviations and risks
• Holding external parties accountable for agreements made
• Providing technical input for permits and justifications
• Supporting project teams during the preparation phase
• Preparing the technical handover to the execution phase
• Supporting the Technical Manager in technical decision-making
• Aligning design choices with internal stakeholders and contractors
• Participating in the management of UAV-GC contracts
• Collaborating within multidisciplinary project teams
• Minimum 3 years of experience in engineering and technical project preparation
• Experience with projects in infrastructure, energy, or industry
• Experience with underground infrastructure at low and medium voltage levels
• Experience with reviewing and checking contractor designs
• Knowledge of project-based work in multidisciplinary teams
• Experience with contract forms, including UAV-GC
• Experience with station works is a plus
• Familiarity with distribution and medium-voltage substations is a plus
