Design and development of components and assemblies using Siemens NX and CATIA, with a focus on creating and adapting 3D CAD models and technical 2D drawings.
Project overview
Design and development of components and assemblies with Siemens NX (focus) and CATIA. Creation and adaptation of 3D CAD models based on customer-specific installation space data and design guidelines. Creation and detailing of technical 2D drawings, taking into account currently valid GPS standards. Design and optimization of sheet metal, stamping, and forming parts. Development and design of sealing components, ideally multi-layer cylinder head gaskets or special seals. Checking and ensuring manufacturing-appropriate and standards-compliant design.
Management and maintenance of design data, drawings, and parts lists in SAP/ECTR. Coordination of technical requirements and design solutions with internal specialist departments.
Requirements
Very good knowledge of Siemens NX and CATIA. Sound experience in 3D design based on customer installation space data and design guidelines. Confident handling of the creation of technical 2D drawings according to current GPS standards. Experience in the design of sheet metal, stamping, and forming parts. SAP/ECTR knowledge for managing design data.
100% remote. Onboarding on-site in D7. Workload is fluctuating and rather on-call (10-30 hours/week).
