Project overview

For a demanding project in the transport and logistics sector, we are looking for an experienced Developer with specialization in Scala, Kubernetes, and AWS. The engagement is fully remote and designed for 6 months, with options for extension.

Responsibilities

You will develop clean, efficient, and fully documented code for software applications according to the client's requirements. You will be responsible for planning, designing, and implementing software projects, as well as testing and debugging applications. Furthermore, you will work closely with project managers and other developers, participate in code reviews, and provide constructive feedback.

Requirements

You bring at least 5 years of programming experience with Scala and have sound knowledge of the Protobuf framework as well as the CUCD toolset. Experience with Git/GitLab, Chef/Puppet, and deploying complex services on Kubernetes clusters in AWS is required. You have several years of experience in software development with a focus on functional programming. English at C1 level is mandatory.

Advantageous are experiences in developing highly scalable, event-driven backend systems with Apache Kafka or comparable streaming frameworks, as well as knowledge of real-time planning and control systems.
