Development Engineer Wiring Harness Development Commercial Vehicles

Project overview

We are looking for an experienced development engineer (m/f/d) specializing in wiring harness development in the commercial vehicle sector. You will be responsible for the development, optimization, and series support of low-voltage electrical systems.

Your tasks include the development and integration of electrical systems for special and commercial vehicles, the design of wiring harnesses, and their optimization of existing concepts. You will carry out commissioning, analyze faults directly on the vehicle, and initiate technical solutions. Furthermore, you will create specifications for electrical components, independently handle development tasks, and act as a technical contact for service issues.

We expect many years of project experience as a development engineer in the commercial vehicle environment with sound knowledge in wiring harness development and the low-voltage sector. Professional knowledge of Zuken E3 as well as SolidWorks Electrical, MATLAB/Simulink, or comparable tools is required. You should be confident in handling customer requirements and be able to implement them technically.

We are looking for a person with a high degree of personal responsibility who works solution-oriented even without detailed specifications. A hands-on mentality, structured and agile working methods, and fluent German language skills are necessary. Ideally, you have experience in the series support of existing vehicles and components.
