QA/QC Electrical Engineering (m/f/d) – Data Center

Project overview

For an exciting data center project in Linz (Austria), we are looking for an experienced QA/QC Inspector / Engineer (m/f/d) in the field of electrical engineering as soon as possible to ensure and monitor the quality of electrical installation work.

• Start: ASAP
• Duration: 12 months with option for extension
• Utilization: Full-time
• Daily rate: up to max. €800 all-in
• Languages: German and English

Responsibilities

• Monitoring and quality assurance of electrical installation work on the construction site
• Inspection of low and medium voltage systems, cable systems, switchgear, UPS systems, and generators for compliance with technical specifications, drawings, and applicable standards
• Execution and documentation of quality controls as well as monitoring of compliance with Inspection & Test Plans (ITPs)
• Support and quality assurance of inspections and tests, including FAT, SAT, and pre-commissioning
• Identification, documentation, and tracking of quality deviations (NCRs) as well as creation and processing of punch lists
• Control of the work carried out by subcontractors regarding compliance with quality standards and technical specifications
• Review and evaluation of technical documentation, test reports, and as-built documents
• Close coordination with site management, project management, and subcontractors to ensure the required execution quality

• Completed technical training or studies in electrical engineering or a comparable qualification
• Several years of experience in quality assurance and quality control (QA/QC) of electrical installation work on construction sites
• Sound knowledge in the field of electrical systems and equipment, especially low and medium voltage
• Experience with QA/QC processes, inspection plans (ITPs), NCRs, and technical documentation
• Knowledge of relevant electrical engineering standards and quality standards (e.g., IEC, VDE, ISO 9001)
• Experience with testing and commissioning processes of electrical systems is an advantage
• Experience in data center projects is desirable
• Very good German and English skills
• Independent, structured, and quality-conscious way of working as well as strong communication skills
