Activities:

Framework:

• Development and implementation of scalable end-to-end digital architectures for energy facilities
• Definition of architectures for connecting industrial assets, edge devices, and cloud platforms
• Technical management of the solution lifecycle, including integration, testing, and handover to operations
• Coordination of technical developments in the areas of platform, connectivity, identity, data, and applications
• Creation of reusable architecture patterns as well as validation and test strategies for interfaces and cybersecurity
• Start: ASAP / from mid-November, December at the latest
• Duration: at least 6 months
• Utilization: Full-time, 40 hours per week
• Location: 95% remote / occasionally 1-2 days per month on-site in Erlangen
• Language: English C1 and German B

• Experience in Solution Architecture or Systems Engineering in an industrial environment
• Knowledge of cloud architectures, IIoT technologies, and data integration (IT/OT)
• Knowledge of SCADA/DCS systems, industrial communication protocols (Modbus, OPC), MQTT, and network technologies
• Application of agile methods such as SAFe in the development of distributed systems in the energy sector or comparable industries
• Business-fluent English skills
