Project overview

Development and optimization of nonwovens based on cotton blend fibers and polyester for the automotive sector. Conception, selection, and continuous improvement of fiber blends to meet acoustic, mechanical, and customer-specific requirements. Planning, execution, evaluation, and documentation of material tests, laboratory investigations, and production trials. Independent support of development projects from material concept through qualification to series production.

Requirements

Several years of experience in the development of nonwovens, fiber materials, technical textiles, or comparable materials. Sound knowledge in the areas of material development, materials technology, and technical textiles. In-depth understanding of the interactions between fiber blends, process parameters, and the resulting material properties. Experience in planning, executing, and evaluating material tests, experimental series, and targeted optimization of acoustic and mechanical properties. Practical knowledge of airlaid, nonwoven, or comparable manufacturing and processing methods.

Proficient German and English language skills, both written and spoken. Willingness to undertake national and international business trips.
