We are looking for a DevOps Engineer to join a bank's strategic initiatives in Zurich. The role involves refactoring the investment proposal area and integrating with a new event streaming platform (Kafka-based).
Project overview
For deployment with our client in Zurich, we are looking for a DevOps Engineer
The work in the DevOps team includes the implementation of the bank's strategic initiatives. On the one hand, this includes large-scale refactoring in the area of investment proposals (functions, interfaces, service calls) and integration with the new central event streaming integration platform (based on KAFKA). The initiatives were started some time ago and are currently in the implementation phase.
Responsibilities
- Master data extensions within the Avaloq Banking Platform
- Design and develop event-streaming interfaces to other
- software systems
- Maintain and further develop Java-based software components
- Support ongoing operations as well as analyze and resolve
- incidents
Requirements
- At least 5 years of experience as an Avaloq Parametrist
- Several years of experience in Java development
- Experience with agile development methods
- Willingness to take on operational tasks (DevOps)
- Enjoyment and interest in topics in and around investments & pensions
- German: C2 – Near-native proficiency
- English: C1 – Professional working proficiency – Advanced (CAE)
- No subcontracting allowed!
