Job description
As a DevOps Engineer, you will work in cross-functional teams on the further development of a streaming platform (VoD) with billions of accesses. Your tasks include expanding infrastructure automation, designing system solutions, and building DevOps pipelines.
Responsibilities
- Expansion of infrastructure automation for the commissioning of system updates and for the setup of completely new system installations
- Design of system solutions based on in-house developments for use at different locations and in different scaling levels
- Expansion of monitoring for existing and newly to be developed systems
- Support for agile development teams in building DevOps pipelines for Continuous Integration and Continuous Delivery based on .NET Core, Kubernetes, and Docker
- Ensuring the operation of existing applications, which are in use 24x7

- Knowledge of common processes, methods, and tools in software development
- Initial experience with configuration, administration, and automation under Windows (PowerShell) and Linux (Ansible, Python, Shell Scripting)
- Enjoyment and passion for working with cloud infrastructure platforms (e.g., AWS, Docker, k8s) and pipelines
- Knowledge of software development methods and tools, and experience with configuration, administration, and automation are advantageous
- An open attitude and the willingness to work in agile teams (SCRUM)
- Good German and English language skills
