DevOps Engineer – Microsoft Entra ID / Azure / Terraform

Project overview

For an established company in the financial industry, we are looking for an experienced DevOps Engineer to strengthen the Cloud team. You will drive the setup and optimization of the Microsoft Azure platform, with a special focus on Microsoft Entra ID and automation solutions.

Your tasks include the development and implementation of automation solutions for Microsoft Entra ID using Terraform and Go APIs. You will configure and optimize App Registrations, Enterprise Applications, Conditional Access policies, and Administrative Units. Another focus is on the development and maintenance of authentication and authorization flows with OAuth 2.0, SAML, and OpenID Connect for Single Sign-On and other applications.

You will develop conceptual specifications for identity flows, continuously create and optimize authentication and authorization rules, and support the integration of new Azure services. Furthermore, you will document technical solutions and train internal teams.

We expect several years of practical experience with Microsoft Azure and sound knowledge of Azure core services. You have in-depth expertise in Microsoft Entra ID as well as practical experience with Infrastructure as Code (Terraform). You are familiar with DevOps practices, CI/CD pipelines, and automation tools like GitLab. Programming skills in Go, Python, or Bash are required.

Good understanding of network security, IAM standards, and cloud security technologies completes your profile. You work agile, have a completed IT education (FH/University or equivalent), and are characterized by analytical thinking, a structured approach, and a high awareness of quality.

German (C2/native speaker) and English (B2) are required. The position is based in Zurich and the surrounding region with 100% utilization.
