Mission Description

For one of our partners, we are looking for a confirmed AWS Cloud Architect / Lead DevOps-SecOps. They will join the Cloud & Security team of a major energy player, within the IT department of its Consumer Division (marketing energy offers to individuals).

Your role will be to design, implement, and maintain cloud solutions, primarily on AWS. You will ensure their security, performance, and cost control.

Work Environment

You will join the Cloud and Security team of the IT department's Support and Operations division, within an agile organization. The mission takes place mainly in an AWS cloud environment, with notions of Azure and GCP. You will work on infrastructure as code and automation (Terraform, Ansible), containerization (Docker, Kubernetes), continuous integration and deployment pipelines (GitLab, GitHub), as well as on security and identity management tools. Development is based on Python, Java, and Linux scripts.

• Analyze business needs and translate them into cloud architectures
• Design robust and scalable cloud architectures
• Integrate security and compliance from the design phase (Security by Design)
• Optimize cloud costs (FinOps)
• Train and support teams on architectures
• Ensure technological watch
• SecOps AWS: SCP, IAM, tagging, audit, securing EC2 / EKS / Lambda / S3
• AWS Security: SSM, KMS, Secrets Manager, Inspector, WAF
• AWS Networking: VPC, Transit Gateway, firewall, DNS
• IaC: Terraform (strong mastery), CrossPlane, Ansible
• CI/CD Security: GitHub, GitLab
• Containerization: Docker, ECS, EKS, Karpenter
• Serverless: Lambda, API Gateway, CloudFront
• Resilience: S3, EFS, EBS, AWS databases, horizontal and vertical scalability
• Deployment: Blue/Green, Canary, Rolling
• Monitoring: Splunk, Datadog, Fluentd
• Notions of GitOps (ArgoCD, Kyverno, Helm, Kustomize) and web development (REST API, cache)
• Master's degree (engineering school or university in computer science)
• Minimum 10 years of experience in a similar role; experience in the energy sector and/or an agile context is a plus
• AWS Certified Solutions Architect – Professional certification mandatory
• Appreciated certifications: AWS SysOps, Terraform Associate, AWS Security
• Significant experience in Scrum / SAFe
• Autonomy, rigor, communication, teamwork, operational English
