Experienced drivetrain designer needed to support the development department. The role involves concept development, realization of innovative components, and managing the process from idea to series production.
Project overview
We are looking for an experienced designer to support our development department in the area of drivetrains. You will independently contribute to the conception and realization of innovative components, accompanying them from the initial idea to series readiness.
Your tasks include creating feasibility studies and project plans, as well as the independent design and development of components and assemblies. You will create 3D models and 2D drawings, develop concept proposals, and prepare decision papers for management. Furthermore, you will generate parts lists, create purchase requisitions in the ERP system, and prepare homologation documents. Participation in Design FMEAs is also part of your responsibilities.
We expect at least five years of professional experience as a designer with very good knowledge of CATIA. Your experience in the automotive industry, especially in the powertrain sector, is essential. Knowledge of SAP for managing component availability will complete your profile.
This position offers you the opportunity to contribute to future-oriented projects and bring your expertise to a dynamic environment. The assignment is planned for three months and can be extended depending on requirements.
