Dynamics 365 Finance & Operations Solution Architect

Project overview

We are looking for an experienced Solution Architect for Dynamics 365 Finance & Operations to lead the design and implementation of comprehensive F&O solutions in Finance and Supply Chain Management.

The position requires an on-site presence of three days per week.

Responsibilities

• Responsibility for the overall solution architecture of D365 F&O in Finance and Supply Chain
• Leading design workshops with stakeholders for requirements analysis and solution design
• Definition and governance of the integration architecture between D365 F&O and other enterprise systems (CRM, WMS, EDI, Banking, Tax Engines, Power Platform)
• Architectural support throughout the entire project lifecycle (Design, Build, Test, Deployment, Hypercare)
• Advising functional and technical teams on best practices, configuration vs. customization, data migration, and extensibility (X++, Power Platform, Azure Services)
• Review and approval of technical designs according to Microsoft best practices and ALM standards
• Advising on module design in Finance (GL, AP, AR, Fixed Assets, Budgeting, Cost Accounting) and Supply Chain (Procurement, Inventory, Warehouse Management, Production, Master Planning, Transportation Management)
• Identification of risks, dependencies, and technical debt
• Mentoring of functional consultants and developers

Requirements

• Proven experience as a Solution Architect for D365 F&O or AX 2012 with F&O migration experience
• Several full implementation cycles
• In-depth knowledge of Finance and Supply Chain modules
• Experience with integration architecture (Data Management Framework, Dual-Write, Power Platform Connectors, Azure Service Bus)
• Understanding of the D365 F&O data model, security framework, and extensibility model
• MB-700 certification preferred, as well as relevant functional certifications (MB-310/MB-330)
